The project was to create three black and white movie posters using only pictograms. I chose some of my favorite movies and one's that I could think of a.  A good bunch of symbolic images immediately  popped into my head when considering some of my favorite movies. I then selected and edited several pictograms together to create each poster. I spent considerable energy exploring negative space because the posters and pictograms had to be black and white. I also wanted to create good hierarchy of information for each poster by drawing the viewer in with the large bold image then leading the viewer to the title and cast members after being drawn in with the large bold Image.
