Purple Disguise
Purple disguise is a response to my curiosity of manipulating reality with paint and repetition. I made this self portrait by first creating a collaged drawing of my face with repeating features. Using an altered colour pallet I was able to further manipulate reality creating this supernatural portrait. Using photoshop I then layered close up images over the original painting to exaggerate the features. Finally I used photoshop to produce the animated .gif file.
