SECTION DETAILS & PLAN VIEWS
In my second year at NAIT, I began my semester making simple section details. The first few were focused on the skeleton of a commercial building, using hollow structural steel columns, beams, and open web steel joists.
As the semester continued, I moved on to more complicated sections such as these Kawneer 1600 curtain wall system details. Walls, curtain walls, and floors were added to the frame of the building, as well as parapets and roofing, completing the overall structure.
Finally, I have a section detail containing multiple segments of one wall, including the head of the door frame and the soffit coming out overtop.
