Feng Shui: Prosperity is a VR project that allows the audience to interact with, helping people to better understand the foundational concepts of feng shui in a fun and creative way.
Nine specific items in feng shui indicating different Qi (a movable positive or negative life force/energy) will be displayed in an octagonal indoor museum. Related to the theory of Bagua (nine trigrams), arranged octagonally around a symbol denoting the balance of yin and yang, the nine items will be showcased in different directions. An indoors to outdoors transformation of the environment can be triggered by the player. The materials, colours, scales of the nine items will change once it is changed to a natural environment. The player can interact with the objects, and there will be some dramatic effects shown around the objects.
The feng shui item is not just a mysterious interior decoration yet also a linking symbol between humans and the surrounding environment. Feng Shui: Prosperity is an educational VR project that helps people to get to know feng shui, as well as an entertaining interactive digital artwork that the audiences can engage with.
