These images are part of my Celtic Inspired Inktober challenge, where each day of October, I pick one aspect of Celtic mythology and do an ink sketch of it, designing the characters and composition. I feel like there is a distinct lack of artwork inspired by Celtic Myths, so I took it upon myself to fill this gap. 

With this project, I also created a video explaining my ink drawing process using After Effects. 

I had lots of great feedback on this project on Instagram, where many people were incredibly encouraging of where it was going and were enthusiastic about the creation of new artworks and myths to share.

I hope to one day turn this project into a book of all the drawings that I have done in this project, complete with brief summaries of the stories that inspired them. These mock-ups were created using InDesign and Photoshop.

It's my passion to spread the knowledge of history, mythology and storytelling of the past, and the things it can teach us about time, ourselves, and life itself.
