[ 主题阐释 ]
“一神论否定其他的神,以自己为真理,他人为异端,由此产生真伪之神,真伪宗教。古埃及学家杨·阿斯曼按典籍中记载的一神论先驱摩西之名,将宗教中这一真伪区分称为“摩西区分”。
在达瑞奥·冈博尼看来,“摩西区分”及其基于排他性语言实现自我区分和独立的逻辑立刻让他联想到现代艺术中的诸多理论与实践。二者之间的联系是否源于各自主张一种排他性的真理,还是源于宗教向艺术的持续转移?换言之,这究竟是一种结构的、逻辑的联系,还是一种历史的联系?”

[ Theme interpretation ]
In Dario Gamboni's view, the "Moses distinction" and its logic of achieving self-discrimination and independence based on exclusive language immediately reminded him of many theories and practices in modern art. Does the connection between the two stem from their respective claims of an exclusive truth, or does it stem from the continued shift from religion to art? In other words, is this a structural, logical connection or a historical connection? "

因此选择用“摩西分海”与杜尚的《泉》,作为一神宗教与现代艺术的象征符号。
摩西分海首先对应文本对“摩西区分”的引用;其次“分”的意象,在视觉上和文本内容探讨的一神教以及现代艺术理论内含的二分法对应;泉是现代艺术的发端,是创作者对“何为艺术”这一命题的反思和应对,又开启了新一轮即现代艺术对“何为艺术”的探讨和界定;二者构图上都有很强的中轴对称特征(还都有关于水)。
表现手法则致敬了现代艺术诞生初期的抽象主义与达达主义,绘画素材来自马列维奇。

Therefore, "Moses divides the sea" and Duchamp's "Spring" are chosen as the symbol of monotheistic religion and modern art.
The division of Moses first corresponds to the text’s reference to “Moses distinction”; secondly, the image of “division” corresponds visually to the monotheism discussed in the text content, and the dichotomy contained in modern art theory; third, Spring is the origin of modern art, and creation the artist’s reflection and response to the proposition of “what is art”, it has opened a new round of discussion and definition of “what is art” in modern times; fourth, them both have strong axial symmetry in their composition (also all about water).
The expression method pays tribute to the Abstractionism and Dadaism which appeared at the beginning of modern art, and the painting materials come from Malevich.

3: The First draft. OCAT felt that the contrast between red and blue was too strong, so I used yellow and dark gray to neutralise it and then became the final coloring scheme with red, blue, yellow and dark gray.
