Jellyfish are fascinating animals. They have been roaming the oceans for about 670 million years. They have no brains. They float elegantly through the seas, can glow, and some of them are even immortal. They play an important role in the marine ecosystem. Jellyfish were already around, when there was only one big landmass and technically only one ocean. Their ability to adapt again and again to new habitats and environments is the reason for their survival until now. Maybe they will still exist when humankind is already gone. I tried to capture their grace and beauty in my photos which I took in aquariums around the world.
