Silver and Blue
Silver is a warm metal. It goes wonderfully with ultramarine blue.  How is ultramarine Blue made? - it is the refined crushed rock Lapis Lazuli.  Treasured in the Ancient Near East it was traditionally used with silver for the jewellery of the region.
Titanium, a modern metal, heat treated also produces these amazing blues. The Ring in the last image below was made in 1977, yet it is as vibrant now as ever. A difficult metal to hand craft and join riveting is the main method employed.
