Meaningful Memes
The objective for this assignment was to develop a series of three Meaningful Memes to elevate an underrepresented artist and highlight contributions they made to the art world and identify and incorporate at least three quotes that would pair with the visuals of the images. For this assignment, I chose Kay Brown, an African American artist who along with Dinga McCann and Faith Ringgold were part of the Black Art Movement. I also designed the images to be used on the Facebook platform.
