These are plain weave with linen yarn.
Taking a dried custard apple as an inspiration, the selection of colors and yarn was done. The linen yarn was hand dyed to acquire the desirable color.
The inspiration for this swatch is "The Great Canyon" picture.
The task was to achieve the texture. Weaving a double cloth with pleats brought the layers effect to the textile. Linen yarn was used to bring the stiffness in the structure.
