Situated on the East side of Valletta, overlooking the magnificent Grand Harbour and the historic Three Cities, one finds the Santa Barbara Bastions: a relatively short stretch of a defensive wall, built by the Knights of St. John and enhanced by the British in the 1800s, throughout its lifetime it has witnessed its fair share of historic events. Nowadays it plays host to affluent properties that line the whole length of the bastion and to this day, inspires anyone who visits it.
