When Jordan’s Furniture – a well-known New England furniture retailer – decided to hold a promotion contingent upon the Red Sox’s performance in the 2007 World Series, they turned to Jackrabbit Design to help in the strategy and promotion of the campaign. The Monster Deal encouraged customers to purchase furniture with the promise that if the Red Sox won the World Series (which they did that year), all of the furniture purchased within the promotional timeframe would be free. Lynn Spooner was the lead Art Director and Designer on this project and created the official sponsorship logo design as well as the advertisements for the campaign and the branded elements at Fenway Park. Jackrabbit has since helped Jordan’s Furniture with three other Red Sox-related promotions and with co-branded materials for their official sponsorship or the Red Sox as well as a repeat of the Monster Deal based on the Bruins’ 2011-2012 season.
