A re-imagining of the title sequence of the film The 7 Psychopaths (2012).

A dark comedy that broaches big topics such as the depiction of violence, love, life and death in Hollywood films. It remains satirical throughout with great actors, well written script and California as the final cast member. 

This project was a real learning curve for me in handling moving images, type and shapes in After Effects.From starting as a complete beginner, it was daunting but I ended up getting really into it.

Above- Shows the simplification of images in the design process. Only visuals that could be quickly recognised and processed by the viewer were used.

Above- You can see how the frames in the sequence were also simplified, colour, composition and speed of movement were all kept minimal, clean and bold.
