Spanyolnátha literary journal
Spanyolnátha is an independent periodical magazine, new issues are released in every two months covering contemporary authors with a focus on literatue, usually prose, novella, short stories poetry and visual art.
It’s title Spanish flu commemorate the victims of the 1918 flu pandemic like Guillaume Apollinaire, Margit Kaffka, Egon Schiele, Edmond Rostand…
The new design shows the magazine’s unique character online and offline. It is a low budget independent magazine, the prints must have been as economical as possible but give hold value for the readers. This kind of thinking brought a two sided concept alive.
The front contains the cover, impressum and the mostly text based main content, the back is dedicated for visual art. It is a single sheet of paper folded to an A4 format, folding provides newspaper-like reading experience, as it is unfolded, becomes a poster.
