Compassion Explorer magazine teaches U.S. kids, ages 6-10, about other kids around the world living in extreme poverty. We took the difficult subject of poverty and made the magazine approachable and fun. I was fortunate to develop the magazine from the ground up. I was the art director, lead designer and illustrator for three and a half years. During that time, I developed the design across the print edition, web site and tablet edition for the magazine.
