A girl wrote to me and wanted to give the painting to a friend who is opening a restaurant. The idea was to put the cartoon characters Rick and Morty in the interior of this restaurant as if they were celebrating its opening. I was sent a photo of the interior and at the sketch stage I realized that it would be quite difficult for me to draw the interior from the angle that I chose. I thought it would be easier for me to create a 3D model of the restaurant and draw it over the render in photoshop. I was sent a floor plan of the restaurant, and I quickly made a 3D model based on the plans. It saved me a lot of time. In my 2D work, I often use 3D to facilitate certain tasks.
