UNSEEN • Lockdown Zine
We can live in the same place for years and not really see it, at least not in great detail. Usually we are busy with the life we live outside the familiar four walls. Or we are preoccupied with the narratives we build inside our mind. But being forced to stay at home for weeks during the quarantine has given me an opportunity to really notice how the same space doesn’t really remain the same throughout the day. Rooms seem to be brought to life as they are touched by the travelling daylight.
Through a series of photographic and typographic compositions, I explored the modalities of [UN]SEEN at my own home. The solid and transparent, the repetitive and dynamic, the hidden and highlighted are brought together in the editorial spreads of the Lockdown Zine.
